| How is VidaBox's customer support? |
|
We believe that the quality of customer support is just important (if not more) - than just the quality of the product. Your VidaBox installer, integrator, or dealer will act as your single point of contact through the entire project - from the beginning sale to the end installation, providing full accountability.
Your installer is fully versed and the most knowledgeable in your particular AV setup, allowing him/her to best install our VidaBox systems. Thus, if any issues do arise, s/he can quickly troubleshoot what the issue is and get you back up and running.
Direct support from VidaBox is available via the our interactive forum here, so that you can have a "backup" resource for assistance. In general, your dealer will be able to provide response as quickly as possible! |

Can I design my complete
system and purchase items as
I grow my setup?
VidaBox systems are specifically designed to be modular, allowing you to start off with a single media center or audio server, and be able to "grow" the system by adding in more components later.
For example, you can get a RackServer media server with a single extender, and then add in more extenders weeks or months down the line for other TVs in your home. Whenever you're ready, you can also upgrade the RackServer and provide multiroom audio capabilities. Conversely, one can start with a multiroom audio server, and then add in a full-fledged media server later on without issue.

Can I use VidaBox™ servers
w. non-VidaBox™ extenders?
VidaBox manufactures our own line of uniqye media extenders to allow extension of DVDs, Blu-ray, and other content. Using non-VidaBox extenders will not allow you to stream those types of content, and is not recommended for use with VidaBox servers.

Can I use VidaBox™ extenders
w. non-VidaBox™ servers?
While VidaBox media extenders are engineered for optimal performance with VidaBox media servers, they can be also be configured to work with non-VidaBox hardware. However, performance is not guaranteed, as the total end user experience is a result of the combination of hardware in the entire ecosystem.
