The 26-inch deep VidaBox RACK8™ sets new standards for Vista-based media servers. Combining storage expandability, performance, and system availability in a rackmountable chassis, the RACK8™ is ready provide an unmatched digital entertainment experience on any HDTV or projector & surround sound system. With powerful upscaling (up to 1080p), its playback quality is only matched by high end DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-ray players. The entire Media Center user interface can be easily controlled using the included remote control.
When ordered with any SLIM, ROOMCLIENT, or RACKCLIENT extender, the RACK8™ server is preset with configuration-free networking at the factory, allowing "out of the box" access to movies, pictures, music, and videos from any VidaBox extender without the hassle of complicated software settings. Simply plug in yours cables and go!
